The Inspector General (IG) of the National Police Service Mr Hilary Mutyambai officiated passing out parade rehearsal at the National Police College Campus A, Embakasi.
The 2,610 recruits consisting of 2,215 men and 395 women will be a major boost to the existing strength of the National Police Service.The Inspector General challenged the recruits to strive and become better service men and women for they will be expected to discharge their duties professionally as 21st century police officers.
“The revised training curriculum forms a great basis of professionalism. We have trained them to become people-centred police officers”, noted the IG.
The passing out parade will be officiated by H.E Uhuru Kenyatta, CGH, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander in Chief of the Kenya Defense Forces on Monday 29th November.
